The Orbiloc K9 Active Pack is a bundle that keeps you and your dog visible when you go for joint runs, practice canicross or do other fun activities. In addition, the bundle is also ideal for regular runs and dog walks.
The pack contains a dog light in Amber and a light for running in Dark.
Perfect for joint activities
The Amber dog light includes the Orbiloc Quick Mount Adjustable, ideal for most dog collars and harnesses.
The silicone strap has 4 adjustment holes for optimal attachment to your dog’s collar or harness. The silicone ribs on the inside of the strap prevent the light from sliding.
The DARK running light includes the Orbiloc Clip and Armband. With the Orbiloc Clip, you can mount the light directly onto your tights, a running jacket.
The included Orbiloc Armband provides a secure and convenient way to attach your light to your arm or leg. The Orbiloc Armband is adjustable in size (24–40 cm / 9–14 in) and it is made of stretchable, breathable, and washable neoprene.
Colours
Amber often conveys warmth, comfort, and security, making it a popular choice for shy or nervous dogs. It has the same hue as the orange dog gear often used by hunting dogs.
While the lens of the DARK light is black, the emitted light is Xenon-like white.Dark colours often convey a serious and professional appearance, and the DARK light effectively communicates dedication and commitment to training.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Orbiloc warranty does not affect your statutory rights. The warranty period applies to the Orbiloc Dual Safety Lights. Accessories and replacement parts are not covered by the warranty. Other exclusions include normal wear and tear, oxidation, modifications or alterations, incorrect storage, poor maintenance, negligence, and using the light for purposes for which it is not designed. Can I change the mounting system from the DARK light to the Amber light and vice versa?
Yes, the design of the Orbiloc lights allows you to change the mounting system. Please refer to our How-to video on how to change mount.
And here’s a step-by-step on how to change the mount:
- Unscrew the base of the light (by hand or by using the Service Tool)
- Remove the current mount
- Remove the O-ring
- Install the desired mount
- Reinstall the O-ring in the designated groove
- Retighten the base.
You can find other mounting systems here. For example the Orbiloc Carabiner is a great solution for big dogs with long and thick fur, because it makes the light stick out and unfold its high visibility. For tiny dogs the Orbiloc Carabiner can be used to mount the light to the leash.
Is the Orbiloc Safety Light really 5 km/3 mi visible?
The 5 km/3 mi visibility of the Orbiloc Safety Light is based on a calculation that takes into regard factors such as:
- The ability of the human eye to perceive certain colours
- The threshold of light perception by the human eye
- How much the light intensity decreases with distance
- The weather conditions
In real world applications, factors such as obstacles, the angle at which you look at the light, the battery capacity and even the curvature of the earth will normally make it impossible to see the light from 5 km/3 mi distance.
Yet, the specification is still useful to compare the visibility of the Orbiloc Safety Light with the visibility of other lights. See more about the colour technology here.
Does the Orbiloc Safety Light tolerate salt water?
Yes, the light does tolerate salt water – even up to 100 meters depth. Please make sure, however, to rinse the light with fresh water while turning the Mode Selector Ring after the light was exposed to salt water. Is the Orbiloc Safety Light rechargeable/can I use rechargeable batteries?
No, the Orbiloc light is not rechargeable by default. However, you can use rechargeable LIR2032 batteries.
When using two LIR2032 batteries the three battery springs in the base must be bent approx. 1 mm upwards to ensure flawless contact with the batteries. Please refer to our User Manual page 11 for advice.
Note: Orbiloc can only guarantee the 5 km/3 mi visibility and the 100–250 h battery life when you use the original Orbiloc Battery Pack included in the Orbiloc Service Kit.
