COMPATIBLE PRODUCTS
The Orbiloc Service Kit offers an affordable and effective solution to keep your Orbiloc Safety Light functioning at its best. The kit includes a pre-wrapped battery pack with two CR2032 batteries, a lubricated O-ring, and a Service Tool for tightening and untightening your light. With this kit, your Orbiloc Safety Light continues to shine brightly for 100 hours in steady-on mode and 250 hours in flashing mode.
The O-ring plays a critical role in keeping the Orbiloc Safety Light waterproof, protecting it up to a depth of 100 meters. It’s essential to replace the O-ring each time you change the battery pack to maintain the light’s waterproof capabilities. This ensures your light stays safe and fully functional, whether you’re out in the rain or submerged in water.
If you frequently use your Orbiloc Safety Light in wet environments, such as SUP or kayaking, it’s important to lubricate the O-ring regularly. For those using the light in diving conditions, we recommend cleaning the O-ring before and after each dive and lubricating it before every dive. You can use the sealed silicone bag from the Service Kit to store silicone for O-ring lubrication.

When replacing the O-ring, be sure to place it carefully in the designated groove above the thread of the lens. This will ensure a secure seal and maintain the light’s waterproof integrity.

When changing the battery pack, make sure the + symbol faces down when inserting it into the base of the Orbiloc Safety Light.

Why should I buy the Orbiloc Service Kit and not simply use 2 single batteries?
Basically, it does not matter where you get the batteries for the Orbiloc Safety Light but there are huge differences in quality.
Therefore, we recommend the original Orbiloc battery pack from the Service Kit.
Especially if your light is often in contact with water, it would make sense for you to purchase the Service Kit, as in that case we recommend that the O-ring is regularly lubricated and replaced every time you change the batteries. The O-ring included with the Service Kit comes in a small zip bag and you can use the excess silicone to lubricate the O-ring several times.
Note: Orbiloc can only guarantee the 5 km/3 mi visibility and the 100 to 250 h battery life when you use the original Orbiloc Battery Pack.
