Orbiloc K9 Active for active dogs and owners

Dog sports, Canicross, Mantrailing or just a run or biketrip with your dog? The possibilities to be active together with your dog are almost unlimited.

You may have a new year’s resolution about committing to improving your own health. If you have a dog, you can be active together. It is not just a good thing for you, but also very much so for your four-legged training buddy. 

And it is just more fun exercising together and at the same time increasing your chances to maintain a consistent training schedule and making a habit out of exercising. 

If you are already a ruling Canicross World Champion you probably know that a big part of the training routines takes place before or after work. In the dark. It is super important to be visible in traffic so that you can feel safe during training without being a risk to others.

People like Joana have inspired us to create a pack for active dogs and owners. We call it the Orbiloc K9 Active.

Orbiloc K9 Active is not for everyone. The pack is for you if you are either already working out with your dog or if you want to start. For it to be truly fun, it is important that you feel completely safe.

Orbiloc K9 Actice

With the Orbiloc K9 Active Pack, you and your dog will soon be ready to train safely in the dark.

The Orbiloc K9 Active Pack contains two lights:

• 1x Orbiloc Dog Dual Amber (incl. mount)
• 1x Orbiloc Run Dual DARK (incl. mount)
• Batteries
• User manual

The amber-coloured light for your dog is clear and visible in the dark, and at the same time so mild on your eyes, that is doesn’t blind you. You can easily mount the light onto many different dog harnesses and collars with the enclosed mount.

The black light has a xenon-like (bluish) white light, which is very visible. The light comes with the Orbiloc Clip and Armband and can be quickly mounted onto your arm. The neoprene material makes the Armband comfortable and suitable for exercise.

The lights come with batteries so you are ready-to-rumble. Just check if the bottom needs tightening.

The mounts

The Orbiloc K9 Active Pack contains an Orbiloc Adjustable Strap, Clip and Armband.

The Orbiloc Adjustable Strap is made from weatherproof and non-slip silicone and can be adapted to the size of most dog harnesses and collars.

The Orbiloc Clip is made from very durable plastic and is designed to hold on without ruining the material it is attached to. The light can either be mounted with the clip onto the Armband or directly onto your outfit or sports equipment.

The Orbiloc Armband is made from a comfortable, stretchy and breathable neoprene material to make it always sit conveniently on your arm. The size can be adjusted between 24 and 40 cm (8 and 15 inches).

The quality of the lights

The Orbiloc lights are manufactured in Aarhus, Denmark, where the quality is continuously monitored and tested to enable you to focus on your sport without having to worry about safety.

In principle, you can swim, dive, ski and do many other activities with the Orbiloc lights, without breaking it. Even a fall, the light is likely to survive – and if not, most of the parts are available as spare parts.

PS: Orbiloc K9 Active doesn’t replace headlights – complements them, so that you and your dog are more visible when training in the dark.
